Christina West is a sculptor and installation artist, best known for her figurative sculptural objects and installations.[1][2][3][4]
Early life and education[edit]
Christina West was educated at Alfred University and earned her MFA degree in 2006. She earned her BFA degree from Siena Heights University in 2003.[5]
Career[edit]
Christina West's work references the human figure at various scales, states of undress, and often incorporates bright colors.[6]
Her 2020 installation Looking at a Naked Man was installed in Downtown Atlanta and combined video, architecture, and sculpture to offer an extended examination of the nude male body.[7]
She currently works as an Associate Professor of Ceramics and Three-Dimensional Studies in the Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design at Georgia State University.
