Christine Mathys (died 1999) was a Belgian CEO and, alongside Dries Van Noten, the founder and co-owner of the fashion brand "Dries Van Noten".[1]

In honour of Christine Mathys and her passion for fashion, the Dries Van Noten fashion brand awards the prestigious yearly award, including prize money worth € 2,500, to support the collection that shows this passion the most. Students who share the same passion for fashion as Mathys once did are suitable for the award.[2] The award is presented annually by Dries Van Noten himself.[3]
