Christopher Aaron Holt (Chris Holt) is a leading telecommunications investment banker currently working at PJT Partners.

Career

Chris is currently a Managing Director (MD) in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners in New York. Chris worked at Macquarie Group from December 2017 through January 2021. Prior to that, Chris worked at Rothschild & Co from April 2014 through November 2017. Prior to that, Chris worked at Morgan Stanley on the Media and Communications ("MediaComms") team from August 2008 through April 2014 in both New York and London. Chris began his career at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he worked out of the McLean, Virginia office from 2002 to 2006. Over the course of his extensive career in investment banking, Chris has advised on over $100 billion of M&A, equity and debt transactions with a focus in the Communications and Technology sectors.

Chris has advised on instrumental MediaComms transactions, including but not limited to Casa Systems' first M&A deal as a public company, where they acquired NetComm Wireless.[1]

Chris has passed the following Financial Industry Regulatory Authority exams: Securities Industry Essentials Examination (SIE), the General Securities Representative Examination (Series 7) and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63).

Education

Chris attended Annapolis High School (Maryland) in Annapolis, Maryland. Chris attended Johns Hopkins University, where he received his BS in Electrical Engineering and MS in Computer Science. Chris also played on the men’s soccer team while at Johns Hopkins. Chris later attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for his MBA, where he focused on finance.

Personal Life

Chris met his wife, Margo Hennigan, at Johns Hopkins. Margo most recently worked for the Obama-Biden administration. Chris and Margo live in downtown Manhattan with twin daughters.
