The company was merged with AMC Theatres[3][4] in 2019 with all the locations turning into AMC locations instead.[5][6]

History[edit]

The coimpany was founded in 2008 in Beaverton by Scott Vallee,[7] and started it's first two locations in Portland and Vancouver.[8]

Later in 2012 they opened up a location at the Vancouver Mall.[9] In 2018, AMC handed Scott a deal to merge the theaters, which he accepted, thus leading to the ultimate demise of the Cinetopia as a whole. All Cinetopia locations were replaced with AMC in 2019.[10][11]
