Cinzia Bomoll (born September 21, 1979 in Bologna) is an Italian author, film director and producer.[1][2]

Career[edit]

Bomoll started her career as a film on 1999 by directing the short film Gara di resistenza. She graduated in Education sciences at University of Bologna. She moved to Rome where she attended a screenwriting course at RAI. after that, she began working as a programmer director and then director for RAI and LA7. In 2006 Bomoll published her first novel, Lei che nelle foto non sorrideva and directed her first feature film, The Secret of Rahil, distributed in USA and Canada on Netflix. In 2010 she made her second film, Balla con noi produced by Rai Cinema.[3][4][5][6][7]
In 2011, she returned to fiction and wrote the sentimental historical novel Sessantanove, published by Fazi Editore. in 2019 she published her third novel Cuori A Spigoli.
She is founder and ceo producer of Amarcord produces, an independent production company which she founded on 2015.[8] She is also a member of Writers Guild of Italia.[9]
