CITY WOMEN: The Woman's Guide to New York was a feminist periodical during the 1970s.[1][2] It published "A Calendar of Events of Interest to Women" and listed various events, activities and women-related businesses from all over New York. Published monthly, CITY WOMEN listed and advertised workshops, self-defense classes (like karate and Tai Chi), lectures, therapy groups, and film showings. The publication's Editor in Chief was Sue Perlgut, and its Listings Editor was Claudette Charbonneau.
