Citymind solutions
Citymind solutions s.r.o. (commonly known as Citymind) is a Czech technology startup based in Brno, Czech Republic, specializing in artificial intelligence agents and chatbots for municipalities, universities, and private companies.[1] The company develops multilingual conversational AI tools that help automate communication and administrative tasks, particularly within the public sector.
History
Citymind was founded in Brno and emerged from the academic startup ecosystem surrounding Mendel University in Brno. The project gained early recognition by winning the inaugural MENDELU Boost competition, where it was described as an “AI assistant for cities and municipalities.”[2]
Recognition
Citymind was featured in the Social Impact Award Czechia (2023) for its contribution to digitalizing public communication through AI chatbots.[3] The company has also been covered by Czech and Slovak media outlets including Hospodářské noviny, Česká televize, and Český rozhlas, as an example of innovative use of generative AI in public administration.[4][5]
One of the earliest implementations occurred in the municipality of Mokrá-Horákov, near Brno, which launched the first Czech municipal chatbot in 2024.[6] The chatbot reportedly handled more than 9,500 citizen questions, saving the municipal office approximately 80 working days and €4,000 in operating costs.[7]
