Claire Green (born February 12, 1996) is an American long-distance runner.

Prep[edit]

Green competed for Monarch High School (Colorado) where she was a 3 time First Team Class 5A All-State runner in Cross Country. The Monarch girls won 3 consecutive 5A state championships between 2011 and 2013. Green also finished 3rd place in the 2013 state meet 800 meters and was runner up in the Emerging Elite race at New Balance Nationals the same year.[1]

College[edit]

Green competed for the University of Arizona where she was a three time All-American in Cross Country and Track. Green was also the runner up in the 2018 Pac12 track championships in the 5000 meters. Green was an 4-time academic All American and the winner of the 2018 Pac12 Tom Hansen medal as the outstanding female athlete at the University of Arizona.[2]
