Claudio Rodriguez (born 6 September 1991) is a singer from Cuba. His works include the theme "Yo te Amo Tanto" with Germán Nogueira Gómez, as well as other romantic songs.
Biography
Rodriguez was born in Havana in 6 September 1991. Since a very young age he felt a strong attraction to music, despite, through his childhood and teen years, he didn't develop vocalist skills. In this period, his favourite hobby was listening to all genres of music.
Start of his career
In 2013 Claudio decided to fully dedicate to music, performing under the name "Claudio." Since then he has performed in public spaces as well as prestige locations such as the Peña of Diana Rosa Suárez in the Piano Bar Delirio Habanero and the Peña of Rosalía Arnáez in the Piano Bar Habaneciendo. During 2014 he continues his singing studies with tenor Edilio Hernández.
In April 2014 he aired for the first time on Cuban radio the bolero "Mañana Será un día Para Amar" by José Valladares, that is also notable and is invited to various radio shows by Radio Progreso like "Alegrías de sobremesa", "Bolereando", "Epigramas" and is precisely in "La Onda de la Alegría" where, for the first time, presents himself with the name of Claudio Rodríguez and in the middle of a live interview for the show "Discoteca Popular" Víctor González calls him Claudio. Also TV programmes like "Estaciones", "A esta hora" (Radio Rebelde) and Radio COCO CMCK have broadcast his music.[citation needed]
2015, Ascent in his artistic life
In August 2015 he records the ballad "Yo Te Amo Tanto", by Claudio and by the maestro Germán Nogueira Gómez.
In October 2015 he airs for the first time the pop song "Enteramente Mía", by Wilfredo Calderón. "Enteramente Mía" is very popular in the radio getting in position #4 of the Hit Parade de Nocturno of Radio Progreso, being the 8th pop ballad more heard in Cuba and gets to position #18, and other success lists.[1]
