The ClearNLP project provides software and resources for natural language processing and machine learning. It supports core-level NLP tasks such as tokenization, sentence segmentation, part-of-speech tagging,[1] named entity recognition, dependency parsing,[2][3] semantic role labeling,[4] coreference resolution, sentiment analysis, as well as high-level tasks such as question answering.[5] The project was originally developed by the Computational Language and EducAtional Research (CLEAR) at the University of Colorado Boulder, and is currently developed by the Center for Language and Information Research at Emory University.
