Cognota is the first Learning Operations platform. The company is credited as the category creator for LearnOps, a concept in the L&D industry.[1] The company is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.[2]
History
Cognota Inc., previously known as Synapse and ExpertKnowledge,[3] was established on February 14, 2019, by its three co-founders, Ryan Austin, Joshua Crohn, and Sebastian Leks. The company aimed to address the challenges faced by corporate L&D teams by creating a comprehensive LearnOps platform. Cognota has raised $11 million in funding, contributing to the development and growth of its innovative LearnOps platform.[4][5]
