Colemine Records

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Colemine Records is an independent record label based out of Loveland, OH specializing in soul and funk music.[1][2]

History[edit]

Colemine Records was founded in 2007 originated from a marketing strategy for selling Terry Cole's album, The City[3]. He wanted to sell the album on a grander scale without selling it to an existing record label so comprised the idea of Colemine Records[4]. As Colemine Records started to progress, he began working on it as his full time job and recruited his younger brother, Bob, to do the same.[5] They then opened up Plaid Room Records[6], an independent record store also in Loveland, OH in 2015. Both the label and the store run together under the same roof.
