Colosceum Media Pvt Ltd is an Indian Film and Television production company. Founded by Ajit Andhare with the backing of the Capital18 fund in 2007.[1] It is currently helmed by Lalit Prem Sharma, Executive Producer & Chief Executive Officer.[2]
Colosceum has produced TV shows such as MasterChef India (Season 1-4), MTV Roadies (Season 8-15), MTV Splitsvilla (Season 1-11), MTV Hustle, Om Shanti Om (TV series), Power Couple, V Perfect Couple, Champions.
Colosceum ventured into the Short film space with Juice (2017 film) starring Shefali Shah and Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan.[3] It won Shefali Shah the Best Actor (Female) category and Best Film at Jio Filmfare Short Film Awards 2018.[4] In 2018, it produced Binnu Ka Sapna, directed by Kanu Behl, it won the student jury prize for Best Short at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, France.[5][6]
It has partnered with MacGuffin Pictures to produce 10 short films bound with a common theme,[7] titled "Lost & Found". The anthology marks the directorial debut of Radhika Apte with, "The Sleepwalkers" [8] starring Shahana Goswami and Gulshan Devaiah. It won the Best Midnight Short at Palms Spring International short film festival.[9]
