Comunidad Astronómica Los Mochis

Los Mochis Astronomical Community (Spanish: Comunidad Astronómica Los Mochis), also known as CALM, is a non-profit astronomical society created in Sinaloa, Mexico in January of 2023.[1]
Introduction[edit]
Its main goal is to create a space where amateur astronomers and enthusiasts can develop abilities, increase their knowedge related to the subject and science communication. The community organizes activities such as public telescope observation events, conferences and workshops.
Participants[edit]
Some board members have participated in conferences organized by the community about astronomy and archeoastronomy. The Community collaborates with museums, libraries, parks and public spaces.
