Concast Group[7] is an Eastern India based Steel, Minerals, Infrastructure & Food company headquartered at Kolkata, India. The group, founded in 1993,[7] initially focused on the Steel domain, is a leading manufacturer of TMT bars and structural construction materials.
Concast is developing a 70-MW[5][8] Captive Power Plant, Sinter Plant, Iron Ore crushing & Washing Plant, Coal Washery and Railway Siding infrastructure has been set in Orissa for cost efficient logistics management. The company also acquired a coal block in the state of Orissa to meet its captive requirement.
Concast has an annual business of over US$ 2 Billion and around 10,000 employees worldwide. The company is well known for its brand Concast Maxx[5] associated with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan[7][9] as the brand ambassador.
