Contestee is a Social media app for iOS and Android where users can participate in online talent contests hosted by popular celebrities and social media influencers. The app allows users to participate by uploading photos and videos of their skills, talents, or attributes. The app was first introduced on iOS & Android by Contestee Inc. in November 2020 and marketed primarily in Iran and other Middle-Eastern countries.[1] [2]

Host Contests[edit]
The primary feature of Contestee are "Host Contests", online virtual contests that are managed and controlled by celebrities and influencers who have been pre-approved by Contestee. Each contest goes through multiple phases, or rounds, beginning with an audition round, where users can submit videos of their talents to be accepted or rejected by the host. Once this round ends, the accepted videos are published to the contest page where users can vote for contestants. At the end of every round after the audition round, a select number of contestants who earned the least amount of votes are eliminated from the contest. This number is determined by the contest host for every round. Before the start of the following round, contestants have to upload a new talent video to be used for that round. This process continues until the final round, where the host decides to eliminate every contestant except for one.[3]
