Corbin Maxey (born July 14, 1989) is an animal expert, known for his live animal shows and appearances on The Tonight Show, The Today Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Inside Edition, and The Martha Stewart Show. He also started the Cyprus Hill Reptile Reserve animal rescue and educational outreach facility in 2002, at the age of 12.
His interest and early education concerning reptiles came from his native area in the mountains of southern Idaho, where he regularly captured snakes, lizards, frogs and toads.
He appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as a reptile expert on June 20, 2007 and April 14, 2008.[1]
In 2007, he produced and starred in his own show at Zoo Boise called “Reptile Rampage”, which ran at the zoo.[2] The show featured exotic reptile pets that got too big or mean, and the resulting consequences. It attracted thousands of people.[citation needed]
Since then he has assisted top zoological facilities where he has worked with all different types of animals including orcas, bottlenose dolphins, beluga whales, tigers, giraffes, penguins, primates, and reptiles. [citation needed]
He is a graduate from Boise State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.
