Coronado Eagle and Journal
The Coronado Eagle and Journal is the only local newspaper of Coronado Island in San Diego, California. The title dates back to 1912, with the Coronado Strand, and has changed names numerous times since.

As of 2008, the paper's headquarters were located at 1116 Tenth Street, Coronado, California 92118.[1] It is a weekly newspaper that has a circulation of around 12,000 papers in the San Diego, CA area. It's parent company is Eagle Newspapers.[2]
In 1988, it was reported in the October 6 edition of the journal that former National Star City-News GM, Dean Eckenroth was to be the publisher of the journal. He was filling the position previously held by Gary Neal, who left to work in another business owned by the paper's parent company, which at that time was Worrell Enterprises Inc..[3]
