Crocodile Creek Inc. is an international designer and manufacturer of children's products. They are known for their distinct style and use of classic colors, which is evident in each and every one of their products.[citation needed]

The company was originally founded in 1985 by Mel Brown as the European Toy Collection, which imported and sold classic children’s toys from Europe. Shortly after its creation, Brown moved the company to Northwest Indiana, where he would incorporate it.[1]

In 1986, in only its second year of operation, European Toy Collection won three People's Choice Awards. Just three years later, in 1989, it was named one of the fastest growing companies in America by Inc. Magazine.[2]

In 1992, Brown’s brother, Steve Brown, joined the company and together they began the transition from being importer to manufacturer of their own children’s products. During this transition, they officially rebranded as Crocodile Creek, Inc..

In 2000, Crocodile Creek, Inc. began the relocation to Durham, NC.[3] All operations were consolidated in Durham by 2004.

Since 2006, Crocodile Creek, Inc. has continued to see their brand rise throughout the world. Their line of puzzles, balls, eco-friendly drinking bottles[4] and back-to-school accessories are now readily available from over 20 distributors in over 40 countries.
