Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited (CGCEL), commercially known as Crompton,[3] is an Indian consumer electronics company based in Mumbai, India.[4][5] The company has lighting and electrical consumer durables including LED lighting, fans, pumps, and household appliances like water heaters, air coolers, and kitchen appliances[6][7][8]

In 2015, Crompton Greaves Ltd. began a demerger to separate its consumer goods business from the power and industrial segments which created Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited.[9][10][11]
