Crowne Plaza Eilat

Crowne Plaza Eilat (Hebrew: קראון פלזה אילת‬) is a hotel in the northern part of the city of Eilat, Israel. The hotel is managed by Africa Israel under the Crowne Plaza chain.

The hotel was opened in 1994.

The hotel features 266 rooms and suites and is rated 5-star by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism. The hotel has a restaurant in the lobby and a pool buffet, also a spa service, two swimming pools, a gym, sauna and jacuzzi. It also has three halls: a carnival hall, a pomelo hall and the top pool square.

In 2017 the Eilat Magistrates' court imposed a 175 thousand NIS fine on the hotel for pollution of the waters of the Gulf of Eilat. In samples taken at the point of discharge of the wastewater to the sea, an excess of 14,750,000% of the maximum permissible value of coliform bacteria was recorded. At the same year, Africa Hotels sold to Dayan group the Crowne Plaza Eilat hotel along with three other hotels. For the Crowne Plaza Eilat and Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv, the Dayan group paid 300 million NIS.
