Crucifer (Band)
Crucifer is an American death metal band from Fredericksburg, Virginia that formed in 1990. Crucifer was signed to Wild Rags Records from Montebello, California from 1991–1997, releasing two full-length albums, an EP, and a 7" single. Crucifer played Milwaukee Metal Mania 7 at the Eagles Auditorium on July 31, 1993 with Cannibal Corpse, Clutch, King Diamond, Testament, Body Count and many more. In 2016, Crucifer was picked up by Dark Blasphemies Records from Spain and released the 25-song anthology "Carrier of the Cross" on CD. Summer 2023 will see the release of Crucifer's 1991 "Festival of Death" and the 30th anniversary of "Pictures of Heaven" on vinyl released by Pathologically Explicit Records from Indonesia.
