Cups 'n Strings
Cups ’n Strings is a company that restores and preserves audio formats. It specializes in digitizing, restoration and preservation in many different audio recording formats, primarily sound transfers from magnetic tape formats. It was founded in January 2002 by Bruce Maddocks.
After a five-year stint as Chief Engineer at Capitol Studios, and with 35 years of analog experience in analog tape repairs and restorations, digital transfers, tape baking, Maddocks founded Cups ’n Strings in January 2002.[1]
