Cyber Crime Break (CCB) is an Indian nonprofit organization established in 2024. It was created in response to the growing issue of cybercrime in India, with a special focus on protecting women and young individuals from online threats and exploitation.[1] It focuses on cybersecurity, women's safety, and promoting digital literacy.[2][3]

This organization is inspired by Rakshit Tandon who is an national cyber security expert.[4]

History and founding

  • Cyber Crime Break was founded in 2024 by Santhosh Kumar, Kiran Singh Rajpurohit Rishi Shakya, Palak Rajput and Rudra Pratap Singh.[1] The founders recognized the surge in cybercrimes, particularly those targeting women and teenagers, and sought to create a platform to combat these challenges.
  • Case Resolutions: Solved over 100 cybercrime cases within the first month of operation (October 2024 - November 2024).

Programs and initiatives

Cyber Crime Break operates several initiatives to fulfill its mission:

  • Workshops and Awareness Campaigns: CCB has reached over 500 women and teenagers through digital literacy and cybersecurity workshops.
  • Victim Support Services: The organization offers free consultations and legal assistance to victims of cybercrimes.
  • Hall of Fame Program: This initiative recognizes ethical hackers who responsibly disclose vulnerabilities of cybercrimebreak.org.in.
