D'Addario Industries is a privately held business group based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with interests in civil engineering, construction, real estate, and petroleum. HiHo Energy Services is subsidiary in home heating field. The company was founded in 1927 as construction firm,[1][2] and significantly expanded by Francis D'Addario. When D'Addario died in 1986, the company was estimated to be worth up to $168 million and forty subsidiary's, leading to a protracted probate case.[3][4][5] It is currently owned by members of the fourth generation of the D'Addario family.
