Daniel Olukoya (born 15 July 1957) is a Nigerian pastor, author, televangelist and the founder/presiding pastor of M.F.M,[1][2] with its headquarters located in Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria.[3][4][5][6]

Early life and education[edit]

On July 15, 1957, Daniel Olukoya was born in Akure, Ondo State, to Mrs Janet Olukoya[7] and Mr. Olukoya. Olukoya grew up in a Christian family and developed a passion for spiritual matters from an early age.[8] He hails from Ekiti State, Nigeria.[9] Daniel Olukoya attended St. John’s CAC Primary School (Akure) and Methodist Boys' High School (Lagos) for his primary and secondary education.[10] He attended University of Lagos, where he bagged a first-class honours degree in Microbiology in 1980.[11] In 1984, he obtained his doctorate degree (PHD) in Molecular Genetics from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.[12]
