Deb'rah Eunice Gordon Osagiede is a Nigerian pastor and the General Overseer of Spirit and Life Bible Church. She is also the President of Godhead Prayer Ministry.[1][2]

Biography[edit]

Apostle Deb'rah Eunice Osagiede was born in January 1958 in Edo State, Nigeria.[3] She is married to Apostle (Dr) Gordon Erhauyi Osagiede. She was made the General Overseer of the Spirit and Life Family Bible Church in 1991 and President of Godhead Prayer Ministry, a global interdenominational family focused prayer ministry with its locations throughout the globe.

Apostle Deb'rah attended Emotan Primary School in Edo State (1963-1973), then moved to St. Maria Goretti Girls Grammar School and Idia College, Benin City. in 1975, she gained admission into the University of Ife to study English Language. she has a Masters in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Lagos, Lagos State and a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Benin, Edo State.[4]

Ministry[edit]

Osagide is the founder of All Gospel Ministers Association of Nigeria (AGOMAN) and Women Gospel Ministers and Gospel Ministers' Wives Organization (WOMMWO) worldwide. Both are affiliates of the Godhead International Prayer Ministry.[5]

She is an advisory board member of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and the coordinator of the Hazard Relief Project.

She is the initiator of the Women in the New Nigeria and Youth Empowerment Initiative (WINN), Women in the New World (WINWO) and New Nigerian Youth (NNY). These initiatives are aimed at lifting widows, orphanages and the less privileged out of poverty. One of her missions is to empower and change the mindset of youth through free trainings, workshop and free skill acquisition.

She is a pioneer in the crusade against sex trade, prostitution, sexual perversion and pre-marital sex.[6]

She is currently the CEO of Rose of Sharon Afro/Asian Diagnosis/Clinical mediplex in Edo State, Nigeria, CEO of Jesus Women Orphanage Home, and Tabithan Widows Rehabilitation and Empowerment.[4][7][8]

Awards and Recognition[edit]

In 2019, Apostle Osagiede received the prestigious United States of America Congress Women of Excellence among the top 20 global women for her contributions to her community as well as meeting the needs of the less privileged in the society. She was the only African to receive the award from the Multi Ethnic Advisory Task Force of US congressman Danny K. Davis.[9][10][11][12]

Osagiede is the author of several books including Looking Unto Jesus, The Lost and The Cross, Glory of Virginity, Commitment and so on with over millions of copies sold globally.[4][13]
