Akinyemi Davids, also known as Pastor Yemi Davids is the founding pastor of Global Impact Churches with headquarters at The Goodland, Ogudu, Lagos, with multiple expressions in Nigeria and the USA running multiple[1] services every weekend. He is the President of Global Impact Institute (GII), aimed at skill acquisition and human capacity development.[2]

Yemi Davids has extensive qualifications from Obafemi Awolowo University, The Word of Faith Bible Institute [WOFBI] by Living Faith Church, Daystar Leadership Academy[3] (DLA), Nigeria, Institute of Leadership & Management, United Kingdom.
Founding Of His Church[edit]
While studying Urban and Regional Planning at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, He founded the Living Word Fellowship[4]. He was moved by the Holy Spirit to continue the fellowship in Lagos. The one year he spent on national youth service in Benue State was enough time for him to prepare for the church, and some of his members from college were eager to be a part of it, so he created a team and began praying. Yemi Davids prayed [5]for almost a year and six months in preparation for the church. They then began in December 2001.
Beliefs[edit]
Yemi Davids believes that man was created as a possibility and not a finality and that the seeds of Greatness are within everyone crying for expression. He is a sought after speaker[6] highly gifted in practical teachings in the area of Divine Wisdom for Life. He has a passion for leadership and hosts the Ministers and Leaders Forum (MLF) dedicated to leaders. He is a member of the Faculty of DLA Executive, and also possesses an Advanced Diploma in Pastoral and Transformational[7] Leadership, RILA.

Yemi Davids is married to Abimbola Davids and they both live in Lagos with their four daughters.[8]
