DCXV (Data Center Xivicom) is a European hosting and infrastructure provider offering dedicated servers, cloud servers, and IPv4 brokerage services. The company operates Tier III certified data centers in the Czech Republic, Portugal, and Lithuania, serving businesses across Europe and worldwide.
Founded in 2007 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, DCXV has grown from a student-built local internet network to a professional infrastructure provider with presence in three European countries.
History
DCXV was founded in 2007 by two students in Kharkiv, Ukraine, without external investment. The company initially provided internet access services to local residents, building a local area network from scratch — including self-laid fiber optic cables and a homemade server room in a storage closet.
In 2009–2010, the network expanded rapidly. The founders upgraded equipment, began renting storage space to clients, and extended Wi-Fi coverage to underserved areas of Kharkiv. In 2012, the company created a separate hosting-focused entity, DCXV.COM, and built a professional server room at the A.Ya. Usikov Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In 2014, following political and legal pressure in Ukraine under the Yanukovych government, DCXV registered in Vilnius, Lithuania, and migrated its entire infrastructure to Western Europe. In 2015, the company sold its local internet network and focused entirely on hosting services.
In 2019, DCXV acquired its own office in Kharkiv. In 2022, following the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the team relocated abroad and transitioned to fully remote operations. That same year, DCXV deployed enterprise-grade equipment from Dell, Supermicro, HP, and Cisco in a Tier III data center in Vilnius.
In December 2024, DCXV expanded into Portugal, placing cloud infrastructure in a Tier III data center in Covilhã. In 2025, the company opened a major location in Prague, Czech Republic, consolidating its primary computing capacity there. In 2026, DCXV completed a corporate restructuring, moving operational headquarters to Limassol, Cyprus.
