DE Photo is a sport and events photography company based in Surrey, South-East England, close to London, the capital of the United Kingdom.
History
Founded in August 2002 in a Caterham, Surrey converted garage by Mike Moore, DE Photo launched its website www.dephoto.biz in 2004.[1] In December 2004, it franchised the business.[2] and became Associate Members of the British Franchise Association (BFA).[3] By August 2005, DE Photo had opened 11 regional branches.[4] In May 2005, the company moved to new 3,000-square-foot (280 m2) warehouse and office premises in South Godstone. In June 2010[5] the company claims to have more than 40 branches with over 12,000,000 photos on their website and has donated over £600,000 to grassroots sports and schools by way of a fixed percentage donation paid on all photos sold on the day of the event. It also claims to be the UK’s largest sport and event photography company.<citation needed|date=December 2019</citation>
