Heyder Aliyev (17 June 1990), better known under his stage name Heyder, is an Azerbaijanian DJ, record producer, sound composer and musician. He producers Progressive House, Trance, Pop, Future House and Dance Music and is widely popular in Worldwide. He has collaborated with One Republic, Charlie Puth, Rudimental, Robin Schulz, Nico Santos, Sena Şener, Richard Judge, KARRA, James Droll and Emin Agalarov.

Early life[edit]

Born and grew up in Azerbaijan, Heyder stared his musical journey since his childhood, when at the age of ten years old, Heyder's family discovered his Musical enthusiasm skills, insisted that he should attend music school, from which he successfully graduated aged just fifteen. Afterward he considered applying for music college, but eventually decided against it, as the chance of becoming a professional pianist was really little and because he no longer enjoyed usual playing, instead he learned to use FL Studio sequencer and mixing piano sounds, written by himself and his love of electronic dance music through trance songs led to his keen interest in production equipment. Eventually he began to be influenced by artists such as Armin Van Buuren, ATB, W&W, Dash Berlin in 2013, Heyder decided to seriously commit to electronic music.

Heyder's debut released, You And Me was followed by the Shelter with Dash Berlin Ft. Roxanne Emery, which appeared on the label Blue Soho Recordings and Armada Music and brought him to the attention of many world-renowned DJs. Blue Soho Recordings label was the first to sing Heyder as an artist. His Single produced in genre Deep House Pop "I Just Wanna Be Yours" appeared on the channel of The Vibe Guide with Sena Şener in 2016 and his OK ([Remix) came later next year when Robin Schulz & James Blunt signed him to Warner Music Group one of the 'big three" recording companies and the third largest in the global music industry, next to Universal Music Group (UMG) and Sony Music Entertainment (SME). being yhe only American worldwide music conglomerate. In 2016 Heyder became the first Azerbaijani musician to sign with the American Insomniac Event and published biography about Heyder in Insomniac.[1]

"Shed a Light" was played in famous festivals as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music, Balaton Sound and alongside that "Heyder" also has been supported by famous DJs' and musicians Nicky Romero, Tiesto, Lucas & Steve, Frank Walker, Dannic, Timmy Trumpet etc.

In 2015, Heyder began to develop his ability as a DJ and simultaneously he was invited to perform live on the stage of one of the biggest EDM music festivals - EDC Mexico 2016. His remixes supported by many worldwide star DJ's and been played in almost all major music festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music etc.

In 2016, Heyder released one of the auspicious remix's, named "We Don't Talk Anymore" (Charlie Puth Ft. Selena Gomez)" on Atlantic Recording Corporation simply knows as Atlantic which is an American major record label founded in October 1947 by Ahmet Ertegun and Herb Abramson. Over its first 20 years of operation, Atlantic Records earned a reputation as one of the most important American recordings labels, specializing in jazz, R&B and soul recordings by African-American musicians including Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave, Ruth Brown and Otis Redding) and sublabel Atlantic Records named Big Beat Records. This Remix caused great interest in Vietnam, Heyder collected large fan base from Vietnam. Afterward that he was invited Fun Beach Festival organized by EDM Vietnam Community in Vietnam and participated in meeting with his fans. Following that Tour de Vietnam continued. With his official remixes and singles, he has got a strong reputation among other famous DJ/Producers.

American Billboard magazine added Heyder's official remix for Charlie Puth's "We Don't Talk Anymore", to the list of best 12 remixes for Charlie's songs.[2][3] In 2017 Heyder signed an artist management agreement with famous SDM management and started to work under managament os Stefan Dabruck. His laters remixes were signed by Universal Music , Warner Music, Atlantic Records, Big Beat Records, BMG etc.

Live performances[edit]

In October 2016, Heyder performed Electric Daisy Carnival in Mexico City.[4][5]

In 2016, Heyder performed EDM Vietnam Community's Fun Beach Festival in Da Nang, Vietnam.[6]

Heyder performed as part of the post race concert of the 2018 Formula 1 Baku Grand Prix,[7][8] entertained and excited audience with his incredible and great performance, on 28th April 2018 after performance of Axwell Ingrosso (two of Sweden's most exciting musical exports and leadings figures in the electronic dance music scene).
