Sergei Mikhailovich Perchenok (Azerbaijani: Sergey Mixayloviç Perçenok, born September 21, 1976, Baku, Azerbaijan SSR, USSR), better known by his stage name DJ Peretse is a Russian DJ, musician, singer-songwriter, music producer.[1][2][3][4]

Sergei Perchenok was born on September 21, 1976, in Baku.[5][6] All of his native family are military submariners.[7][not in citation given]

While the era of Eurodance ended and hip-hop came, so did the academic approach to its creation from Dr. Dre.[8][9][10]

Perchenok worked in Baku as a designer; on the first computer, he began to write music on the popular, at that time a series of programs – "eJay", later it was – "Fruity Loops", then Cubase.

In the summer of 2010 Sergei won the Moscow rapper competition – "Called to be the first", and went on a tour of 40 cities in Russia – "Summer at the height of the world." Sergei also began to participate in remix competitions on the Promo DJ portal and won 5 times in competitions for tracks from – DVJ Electra.

Sergei created the first megamix in this concept – "Max Mix 2013". And he announced a competition on the Promo DJ portal: Megamix Battle. Sergei also started work on a music album of remixes: "Back to the Future", which included his remixes in the style of "Bigroom House", on famous compositions of the 70s, 80s and 90s.[11][12][13]

He also posted these works on the Promo DJ portal; after a while, Sergey's remixes began to play in the NRJ Global Dance program.[14][15][16]

After some time, a joint music album was released,[17][18][19] with an Azerbaijani singer – Emin, then they created several more Russian and English songs.[20][21][22] Sergei got into the final megamix as part of the program – "NRJ Global Dance – 30 best tracks in 5 minutes".[23] Sergei participated in the city day in Brest, where Joe Lynn Turner was the headliner.[24]

In November 2017 Sergei participated in a charity event – "Fashion for Charity" and "Share the good, Moscow!", where he became a DJ of the event.[25]

A joint track with the Honored Artist of Kalmykia Ervena Orgaeva has been released,[26][27][28] and Azerbaijani sound producer "Hafex", the song was released on the music label "Ultra".[29] In 2014 he became a host and DJ at the Olympic Games 2014.[30][31]

In 2018 Sergei participated in Alfa Future People 2018, where he was named one of the best speedmixers and megamix makers in Russia.[32][33] In January 2022 he performed at the DJ Set in Tula.[34][35] In 2022, Sergei became a participant in the Ural festival – "Night of Music" (Russian: Ночь музыки).[36][37][38]

Teaching activity[edit]

Sergei teaches at the Audio School – DJ Groove, both classical DJing and his author's course Mash-Up & Speedmixing.[39][40][41]
