DJ SIDEREAL (born October 12, 1995),[1] known professionally as DJ SIDEREAL. DJ SIDEREAL is an electronic dance music Artist & Producer.
Early life[edit]
DJ SIDEREAL is known for surviving an arachnoid cyst at the age of 11[2].
Career[edit]
At an early age due to DJ SIDEREAL's condition he was not able to play sports. He ended up playing guitar and eventually took a liking for DJ Abilities. He started his career as a Disk Jockey & supporting act at various large events. He has performed with or at: Paid Dues Festival, Vans Warped Tour 2012,Wu-Tang Clan, Murs[3], Kid Ink, Odd Future, Mac Miller[4], Kendrick Lamar[4], Toki Wright, Macklemore[5], G-Eazy, Sound Set[6], Ludacris[7][8], Chief Keef[9]. He attended Woodbury High School and graduated in 2014. In late 2015 He joined up with Producer Mike Olson, Stage name "MI". Together they formed a group called City of Dreams. Sam continued to retain the stage name DJ SIDEREAL. The duo made their first appearance together[10] at SXSW film and music festival on Wednesday, March 18. On August 6th, 2015 the group released Cash Money Records signed artist[11] Caskey's "Black Sheep 2 is on the Way"[12]. Continuing to produce songs with Caskey, City of Dreams landed 3/5 songs on Caskey's " Wish U Were Here"[13] EP. In 2017 the group split to further continue their own musical interest. DJ SIDEREAL moved to Los Angeles, Califorina in early 2017. DJ SIDEREAL Released his first major single "Just be Friends"[14] as a solo artist on March 22, 2018. "Just be Friends" debut on Dash Radio's -Electro City[15]. The single made it's public radio debut on Minnesota's KZGO 95.3 First Impression's[16]. Shortly there after he released another electro-centric single "Are We Dreaming" on April 19, 2018. DJ SIDEREAL put released a single "Rest In Peace" (2019), featuring Denzel Curry, Kaycyy Pluto[17]. May 17th, 2018. This single has been recognized by a major music news sites such as: Hot New Hip Hop[17] & Fake Shore Drive[18]. In Early 2019 DJ SIDEREAL released album "Heaven on Earth". The album featured Elijah J & Dora Pereli. DJ SIDEREAL Released single "I Believe in You" on March 19th, 2019. This single currently has over 100,000 streams on Spotify. On March 31, 2019, DJ SIDEREAL joined rapper Gunna's Drip or Drown tour[19]. This would be DJ SIDEREAL'S first international concert tour[20]. DJ SIDEREAL is rapper Lil Keed's official DJ as stated in a interview with The College Daily member of the Associated Press[19].
