DMarket is a Ukraine based cross-platform marketplace that allows developers, gamers around the world to trade in all in-game earned items and goods globally through Blockchain and smart contracts. Founded in 2017, DMarket raised almost $11 Million in funds during phase #1 from its initial coin offering (ICO).[1][2][3][4][5]

Gamers spend a lot of time in gaming, get different items and points while playing, a fancy car, armor, or a bunch of other valuable goods. Through DMarket, gamers can trade these goods among billions of gamers around the world in exchange for cryptocurrency or goods creating, a new billion dollar market.[3][6]

Founder and CEO Volodymyr Panchenko and co-founder Alexander "ZeroGravity" Kokhanovskyy emerged with an idea to revolutionize the system and become a payment gateway for the gaming industry. DMarket provides free transfer and independent trade and is an open trade platform based on blockchain technology.[7][8]

DMarket raised $11 million in just four days following the launch of the token sale, while the original goal was $1 million. Investors and the private sector showed huge interest and DMarket raised its first $1 Million in just 17 minutes.[2][4]

Usage[edit]

Dmarket allows game developers to connect the game using their API where items among all games and on all platforms can be sold or exchanged via one click sale. It synchronizes thousands of databases through decentralized databases on blockchains that ensure safety and security.[9]

DMarket Tokens[edit]

DMarket coin is the currency used across the Dmarket platform. Virtual items pricing is formed and regulated by game developers. This enables developers to evaluate and create their own in-game trading economy. All the transactions are connected to the marketplace wallet.[3][10]
