DSMN8 (pronounced de-sem-in-ate) is a British organisation which creates employee advocacy software to co-ordinate and amplify employee activity on public social media channels.[1]
The platform suggests imagery and topics via a dashboard and awards the employees who are the most active and deliver the best engagement.[1] Employers use the platform to preapprove employee's social media posts about their workplace, product, service or brand.[2]
Corporate history[edit]
Director, Bradley Keenan founded the company in 2016.[3]
Usage[edit]
Employees choose from a preapproved feed of possible posts set by their program managers. The platform includes tools that assist employees in generating original content and leveraging their social influence.[4]
Sometimes, employers use the software to send out an overview of what it wants its employees to promote, for example, a new product or job vacancy. Managers approve the posts before they go live.[4]
The software measures workers activity through points-based leaderboards, and companies have the choice to compensate top-ranking influencers with some kind of reward. Currently, employers do not disclose employee posts placed through the rewards system as adverts.[4]
