Dahal Flo[1][2] (born Ghana Shyam Dahal on August 25, 2002) is an Indian hip-hop artist hailing from Pakyong, Sikkim. He is known for his unique blend of traditional Sikkimese music and modern hip-hop production.[3]
Early Life and Education
Dahal Flo was born to Hari Pd Dahal and Uma Dahal. He has a brother named Jiwan Dahal and a sister named Durga Dahal. He received his education from Pinegrove School in Himachal Pradesh.[4][5]
Career
Dahal Flo[6] began his career in music by releasing his debut single, "Aatma Samaan," in 2020. The song quickly gained popularity among Sikkimese music lovers and helped him establish a name for himself in the local hip-hop scene. In 2021, he followed up with two more singles, "Angalne Chu Timi La Ma" and "Dosti." Both songs showcased his ability to blend traditional Sikkimese melodies and beats with modern hip-hop production. Dahal Flo's music has been praised for its ability to unite different generations and cultures through music. He is considered one of the rising stars of the Indian hip-hop scene, particularly in the northeast region of the country.[1]
