Dan's 6th Grade Adventures, abbreviated DSGA, is an American local comic strip in the Derry Township School District area, mainly the middle school. It follows the adventures of an 11-year-old named Dan that adventures throughout the series with friends.
Although it's rarely mentioned in the comic series, this takes place in the fictional town of Georgetown, South Plank. This comic series is currently being developed in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Development[edit]
In 2013, Dan Valle thought of an idea of creating a comic series for the 7th grade newspaper. This started out with two helpers, but then both bailed during the process of issue one. It developed more until issue one was complete in December. The comic series is currently on issue nine.
Issues[edit]
There are a planned eleven issues for season one, ten issues for season two, fifteen issues for season three, and twelve issues for season four, which makes forty-eight issues in total, and there are five pages in each issue. There are currently four special issues, the season one special issue (issue three to five) has thirteen pages, same goes for the season two special issue (issue twelve to fourteen). Season three's special issue (issue twenty-two to twenty-six) has twenty-one pages, and season four's special issue (issue forty-six to forty-eight) has a regular five pages per issue, with sixteen pages.
Main Characters[edit]
Dan Valle[edit]
Dan Valle (also the creator), formerly known as "The Leader", is the main protagonist of the series. It follows his adventures with his friends and fiends from the sixth grade. Dan debuts in issue one.
M.A.C.[edit]
M.A.C., formerly known as "The Cyborg", is a made-up character, formerly known as Dan's hi-tech computer watch and adoptive mother. In the season two's special, she is changed from computer form into a humanoid/cyborg form. In season four's special, she dies. M.A.C. debuts in issue one.
Moosa Qureshi[edit]
Moosa Qureshi, formerly known as "The Comedian", is one of the main characters of the series. He is the "comedian" of the group and was originally going to be another protagonist. In season four's special, Moosa dies. Moosa debuts in issue one.
Arik Sisco[edit]
Arik Sisco, formerly known as "The Dodger", is one of the main characters of the series. He is one of the athletic people of the group and can dodge obstacles and weapons. In issue forty-three, Arik, along with Paige, is forced by Liam to betray and leave the group. Arik debuts in issue two.
Adam Wildasin[edit]
Adam Wildasin, formerly known as "The Wrestler", is one of the main characters of the series. He, including in real life, has a lot of experience with wrestling. In issue forty-two, Adam betrays and leaves the group along with Dre and Sam. Adam debuts in issue two.
