Daniel Benson (born September 10, 1987) is an American former actor. He is best known for his roles as Zeke Beakerman on Wizards of Waverly Place and Ethan on Rick and Morty.
Life and career[edit]
Benson was born on September 10, 1987 in Springfield, Missouri.[1] He moved to Florida with his family at the age of 15, where he and his two brothers attending an acting and modelling scouting session hosted by a local talent agent. Benson was selected to be represented by Hines & Hunt Entertainment and he appeared in numerous national commercials, feature films, and bit parts on television.[2] He made his debut in the short film Young Artie Feldman, and appeared in the comedy film Little Black Book and the NBC drama series American Dreams, before going on to appear in several television shows on the Disney Channel, including Phil of the Future and Zoey 101.[3][4]
In 2007, Benson began playing the role of Zeke Beakerman in the fantasy teen sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place on Disney Channel. The character served as the best friend of main character Justin Russo, played by David Henrie.[5] Benson appeared in all four seasons of the show until it's cancellation in 2012.[6] In 2013, Benson began voicing the character Ethan in the sci-fi animated comedy Rick and Morty, which he did on a recurring basis until 2017.[7] Benson went on to appear in several short films and made guest appearances in television series, however currently has no acting credits beyond 2018. In 2019, Benson joined the adult online subscription service OnlyFans where he began uploading pornographic content including masturbation videos and nude photos.[8][9] He later joined the personalised video sharing service Cameo.[10]
