Daniel Adegboyega (born 21 July 1979) is a British Nigerian actor.
Early life[edit]
Adegboyega was born in Lagos, Nigeria. When he was 5 years old, he and his family moved to London, where he trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.[1] He spent much of his childhood watching movies and cartoons and was inspired by his childhood heroes such as Robert Zemeckis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, to pursue a career in acting.[2] After graduating, he worked professionally at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith for the passion of acting.
Career[edit]
Adegboyega made his film debut in the 2008 action film Broken Lines, featuring Paul Bettany, Olivia Williams and Steve Toussaint.
His television roles include Doctors, Casualty, Episodes, Torchwood and Holby City.
He appeared in films such as Skyfall, Transformers: The Last Knight, Avengement and The Marine 6: Close Quarters.
In 2019, he played the role Aaron Sinclair, the estranged father of one of the main characters', Ryan Sinclair, in the Doctor Who New Year's special "Resolution".[3] The same year, he played the role of Viktor in the action thriller film 6 Underground, featuring Ryan Reynolds and Dave Franco.[4]
