Daniel Niazi Jacobsen (born Niazi Mehmet 6th December 1991, Constanta, Romania) is an Norwegian activist and founder who is known for the local news magazine, Sveiobladet.net and TV-company Channel H (Kanal H) with Cato Manuel Ekrene in Sveio municipality.[1][2]
Personal life and career[edit]
Niazi lived in an orphanage with his twinbrother David Jacobsen (born Ibazer Mehmet) in the east of Romania. He was adopted by the parents Olav (born 1954) and Kristbjoerg Jacobsen (born 1961).[3]
When Niazi came to Norway he struggled to speak and stuttered when he form a sentence.[4]
Activism (2008-2012)[edit]
He started his career by giving a speech when a council-manager came with the proposal to close down the primary school in Sveio, he decieded to come forward with his opinion at a meeting for residents.
In 2011 he started with cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Norway, Kristin Halvorsen and the earlier mayor of Haugesund, Petter Steen jr about the state of bullying campaign that was implemented. During the meeting Steen jr. meant that Niazi had raised an important issue of how to create better social society.[5][6][7]
Whistleblower[edit]
As as founder of the earlier organization Third Seconds TSCG, he was designated as a whistleblower by the Russian authorities. When a Russian six years girl was abducted from his parents in Norway.[8]
Some ministers in Russia have meant that he was as a whistleblower who did not reach the point.Niazi was featured in several media around Europe, including Ria Novosti, Izvestia, Life News and Kiev Post located in Ukraine. The media in the Nordic countries including Norway, Finland, Sweden, England, Denmark boycotted Niazi his statements as he then was featured in several media.[9][10][11]
Russia take action and initiated a criminal investigation after Niazi revealed conditions in Norway. [12][13][14]
