Daniel Romero-Abreu (born 1979 in Cádiz). Lawyer, economist and entrepreneur, has been considered in 2018, one of the 10 most promising entrepreneurs appearing in the Choiseul 100 ranking by the Choiseul Institute[1].

Biography[edit]

Born in Cádiz in 1979, he is son of a Spanish father and a German mother. Raised in Cádiz until he moved to Madrid, he has completed his university studies in Law and Business Management at the ICADE (Universidad Pontificia Comillas), Although he concludes his studies in Business Management at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija. He maintains a strong link with his city and has founded the La11Mil association to empower the province of Cádiz..[2]

He is a direct descendant of Joaquín Abreu y Orta, introducer of Fourier's utopian socialism in Spain.

Professional life[edit]

At the age of 23[3], and without having finished his studies, he founded the lecturer agency Thinking Heads.[4][5] However, the professional jump will come 15 years later[6] with the creation and development of the Leader Positioning Strategy (LPS) methodology,[7] evolving from lecturer agency[8] to strategic consultant specialized in the positioning of leaders,[9][10] with offices in Madrid and Miami.[11] His work has been valued with several awards and with the recognition of the national[12] and international press, so the magazine Vanity Fair has called him "the guru of gurus" .[13] In addition, in 2015 he became the first non-Anglo-Saxon president of the International Association of Speakers Bureaus (IASB)[14][15].

Academic training and support for youth[edit]

He is a member of the Faculty of Invited Lecturers of the Instituto de Empresa, in the specialty of entrepreneurship, marketing and sales[16], and has served as a professor of personal positioning in master's degrees and MBA in the pharmaceutical sector. And he has also been a jury in the Speaker Talent[17].

On the other hand, he shows great support to young entrepreneurs, being advisor adviser of different projects and associations such as Board of Trustees | ILUMNO Foundation, The Heroes Club[18], and Solidarity for Development[19], which also works with the reclusive world. On the other hand, he is a fellow of the Aspen Institute of Spain and, due to his dual nationality, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the German Hispanic Circle of Young Managers in Madrid.
