Dark Complected Man

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Following the assassination of President Kennedy Dark Complected Man can be seen sitting on the pavement in the right of this picture.

The Dark Complected Man (DCM) also known as Radio Man,The Cuban or the Umbrella Man Friend is a name given to an unidentified witness to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Unlike many witnesses to the assassination, the man has never revealed his identity or had his identity revealed. This has spawned numerous conspiracy theories, some linking Cuba[citation needed] or anti-Castro Cuban exiles[citation needed] to the assassination. In 2006, the Cuban newspaper Granma Internacional published an article suggesting the man could be the Cuban exile and CIA-backed operative Orlando Bosch Avila.

In a photo taken moments before the assassination the man can be seen to be using what appears to a radio or walkie-talkie and in the Zapruder film of the assassination he appears to gesticulate as the Kennedy motorcade passes. Following the assassination, the man can be seen sitting on the side of the road next to a man carrying an umbrella, with other witnesses lying on the ground. Moments later the two men walk in opposite directions with the "Dark Complected Man" appearing to place the radio in his pocket.

In 1978 Louie Steven Witt identified himself as the man carrying the umbrella, but denied any knowledge of the identity of the man he sat next to. He did state that he had recollections of a "Negro man" who mumbled "They done shot them folks."[1] Some researchers have noted a number of inconsistencies with Witt's story, however, and do not believe him to be the true "Umbrella Man."
