Darkroom is a 2017 Filipino found footage religious horror film. Directed by Pedring A. Lopez, it stars Ella Cruz, Bret Jackson, AJ Muhlach, Donnalyn Bartolome, Andrew Muhlach, Rose Van Ginkel, Caleb Santos, Samantha Capulong and Jack Reid[1] as a group of teenage friends visiting a priest's abandoned home. Upon finding an abandoned set of cameras, one of them gets possessed by a demon, in which they die one by one. The film is under the production of Blackops Studios Asia and Psyops8 in association with Viva Films.[2]
The film was released on January 19, 2017.
Synopsis
A group of teenage friends ghost hunts a priest's abandoned house. They stumble upon a set of film cameras and carelessly play with it, unknowingly summoning the demon that possesses it. One of them gets possessed by the demon and starts killing her friends one by one. Will they make it out alive in the abandoned house?
