Darlene Mitchell is an American drag performer competing on the eighteenth season of the reality television series RuPaul's Drag Race.
Early life
Darlene Mitchell was raised in Greentown, Indiana.[1]
Career
Darlene Mitchell has a decade of drag experience, but took a five-year break from performing before competing on the reality television series RuPaul's Drag Race. She previously performed as Trash.[2]
Darlene Mitchell is competing on the eighteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.[1] For the "RDR Live!" episode, she played a "white trash" character, according to Kevin O'Keeffe of Xtra Magazine.[3] She impersonated Mrs. Claus for the Snatch Game and played Fannie's dog in the Rusical challenge.[4][5] She won the roast challenge,[6][7] during which she used several props including a banana, a clown nose, and flamingos.[8]
Personal life
Darlene Mitchell is based in Los Angeles.[1] She and her partner of ten years were married in 2026, with her fellow Drag Race competitors in attendance. The couple got engaged in mid 2024.[9][10]
