Alisa Summers is the stage name of Alex Hernandez,[1] an American retired[2] drag performer who is best known for competing in the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.[3][4]
Career
Alisa Summers began developing an interest in drag at the age of 18. She began performing as a drag queen at the age of 19. She was inspired to create her stage name by American rapper Lisa Lopes, a member of the girl group TLC.[5][6] In 2010, she won the title Miss Gay Florida USofA Newcomer and Miss Lakeland Newcomer.[citation needed]
Alisa Summers competed on the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. She was the first contestant eliminated, after placing in the bottom two on the first episode and losing a lip-sync against Jiggly Caliente to "Toxic" (2004) by Britney Spears.[7]
