Description[edit]

Based in Quebec City Québec City, Canada, is a Canadian Saas (software-as-a-service) company that offers a web-based (cloud computing) tool that automates the digital performance reporting process.[1]

Product[edit]

DashThis is an online automated reporting tool [2]. It allows marketers to create and share their digital marketing performance reports to their clients [3]. The DashThis system allows users to centralize all of their digital marketing data in one place, by acting as a central hub to which all other external digital tools are linked. Examples of available integrations are Google Analytics[4], Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google AdWords, and many others. Custom data can be added via CSV files(Comma-separated values).

The DashThis system provides users with preset dashboard templates, as well as the possibility of creating dashboards from scratch for personalization. For even further customization, DashThis offers white-label dashboard and white-label URL services.

There are different ways for data visualization in Dashthis dashboards as lists and multi-lists column, pie chart, bar chart, gauge widget, historic widget, stacked column and year-over-year trend. It is also possible to add custom comments, notes and ads images.

History[edit]

Stéphane Guérin founded DashThis in 2011. Prior to DashThis, Stéphane was the founder and owner of a digital marketing agency; he was coincidently in charge of creating performance reports for every one of his clients.

In 2010, many digital marketing tools started opening their systems to external developers with APIs. This allowed Stéphane to create a system that linked to each of these APIs(Application programming interface), thus streamlining the data collection and report creation processes.

At first, Stéphane was the only employee. DashThis has always been self-financed, and therefore, entirely dependent on client satisfaction for its growth.

Until 2012, Stéphane allowed his company to grow organically (Search engine optimization), but he remained the only employee. By the end of 2012, DashThis’s growth enabled the number of employees to grow to 4. Over the course of the next few years, more and more specialists were brought in to accommodate the user demand and need to grow. By the beginning of 2016, the team counted 10 members. Telecommuting was starting to become impractical, so DashThis moved into their current offices in Québec City.[5]

In 2018, DashThis counts 34 team members.[6]

Awards[edit]

Recently ranked 58th in the Growth 500[7] , with a 5-year revenue growth of 1,302%.[8]'

DashThis was also named the 2018 Export Awards Gala MercadOr Québec winner in the "Digital Strategy" category.[9][10] [11]
