Duttapukur Mahesh Vidyapith is a school that was established in 1963 and is managed by the Department of Education.[which?] It is located on the Barasat I block of North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The school has grades from five to twelve. It is a boys-only school and does not include a pre-primary section. Bengali is the language used in this school. Academic sessions begin in January.
The school has eight classrooms for instructional purposes, and two rooms for non-teaching activities. There are separate rooms for the Headmaster and a staff room for teachers. Within the school there is a large playground, a library with over 4000 books and 20 computers used for educational purposes. Students are provided daily meals by the school.
