David A. Lickstein, MD, FACS, (born October 2, 1967) is an American-based Plastic Surgeon known for offering Aesthetic surgery, Mommy Surgery, Breast Cancer, Skin Cancer Reconstruction, and Abdominoplasty.[1][2][3][4][5] He is featured on Palm Beacher Magazine as a Top Doctor.[1]

Early life and education[edit]

David Lickstein was born in New York. His parents later moved to North Miami Beach, Florida where he attended Miami Beach Senior High School. Upon graduation, he proceeded to attend Tufts University in Boston Massachusetts where he majored in English and American Literature.

Licksteinwent on to complete a Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at Harvard Medical School-Mass. General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. He later went on to complete his Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Following his Residency, he went on to pursue his Internship in General Surgery at Tufts University-New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He later received hismedical degree at the Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois.[6]

Plastic surgery career[edit]

Lickstein’s plastic surgery career is focused on a full range of Aesthetic Procedures such as Liposuction, Facelift, Rhinoplasty, Breast Augmentation, Tummy Tuck as well as Skin and Breast Cancer Reconstruction. Additionally, he has developed one of Palm Beach County’s premier practices in Mommy Makeovers– a customized combination of breast enhancement/lift and tummy tuck. In addition, Lickstein is one of the few surgeons in Florida that have experience with single stage implant reconstruction after Mastectomy. He has been performing the procedure since 2007 and is frequently sought out to speak on the subject. He is currently operating alongside Mark A. Pinsky, MD, at Pinsky & Lickstein Plastic Surgery located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.[5][3][7][2][8][9][10]

Lickstein is currently the President of the Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy. He is also on the board of Directors of the American Cancer Society. [11] He is the Director of Cutaneous Oncology/Skin Cancer Program at Jupiter Medical Center and serves as a member of the Operating Room Governance Committee, and Surgery Peer Review Committee.[12][13]

Lickstein is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Palm Beach County Plastic Surgery Society, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and other medical organizations. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.[14][3][2] He is recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America, and also named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.[15]

Dr. David Lickstein married his wife Lisa in 1993. The marriage is blessed with 3 daughters.
