David Abrahamovitch

David Abrahamovitch, is a British entrepreneur and founder & CEO of London-based hospitality group Grind & Co.[1]

Biography[edit]

Abrahamovitch was educated at Bancroft's School and graduated in Economics from University College London in 2008.

Whilst at University College London Abrahamovitch was part of the founding team at InterResolve, an insurance and legal startup which secured major funding from Balderton Capital in 2010, giving it a £30m war chest to acquire claims [2]. Abrahamovitch left the business in 2012.

In 2011, Abrahamovitch inherited his father's mobile phone business in Old Street, East London, and with the help of his friend Kaz James turned it into a coffee shop, Shoreditch Grind. This became the starting point of Grind & Co. which now operates in ten locations across London and employees over 200 people.[3]. Abrahamovitch is the CEO of the business.

Ambassador[edit]

In 2016, Abrahamovitch was made an Ambassador for Investec, as part of their "Restless Spirits' campaign, featuring on advertising on the London Underground.[4]
