From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

David Capurso is an American film and music video director and screenwriter. He attended Hunter College and first received notice for the short film "Emily's Song", which CineBlast called "...a touching and surreal look at a young woman's difficulty dealing with the outside world by transforming into an aggressive old woman when she leaves her apartment."[1] He is perhaps best known for the short film "Against the Wall", which was inspired by the breakout style of video game play.[2] He also directed the 2005 film "Food for the Sun".

Capurso has directed music videos for, among other artists, "the Queen of Spanish Rap", Lisa M.[3] for her song "La Suprema".[4][5]

His film "I am Julia" (2012) won a "Golden Palm award" for short films at the 2012 Mexico International Film Festival and was also screened at the Queens World Film Festival in 2012.[6][7]

Capurso also directed a documentary for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming about the legendary figure's then 106-year-old niece, Alice Frederici Reneau (1901 – 2006).[8][9][10][1]
